The Story of “143”

Michele met Mike. It didn’t take long until they were in love. Mike signed notes & ended messages with “143”. Hundreds of them!  

Sadly, Mike lost his life in an accident in 2020. Michele, her family & their friends treasure memories & pictures of Mike & all those notes. Mike lives on through organ donations & in “143”

1 = I    4 = Love   3 = You

It took a while for me to put the code together with the fact that I’d been driving on Highway 143 for many years on my commute. So I decided to use road signs for this coded conversation.

The yellow * marks actual highways.

Friends: live, love, take the pictures, have the adventure, treasure each other, say I Love You often, be an organ donor & realize we can all be driving on “143”!
